Pecha Kucha Night Toledo is excited to present it's sixth volume of 20 x 20 presentations to kick off the 2014 season! The theme for volume six is "Journeys" and will be held at Seed Coworking on May 10th at 8pm.
An act of travelling from one place to another- a journey can take many forms. Travelling abroad, facing a challenge, overcoming obstacles, being struck with wanderlust, and the progression of change throughout our lives can all be classified as “journeys”. Presenters for this event include:
John Abbey, DOVE Fund
Joni Johnson, Humans of Toledo
Yusuf Lateef, Artist
Elliot Charney, Photographer
Brad Scherzer, Leso Gallery - East Toledo Phase One
Barbara Laird, Travel
Lindsay Williams, Adventuring & Misadventuring Alone
Pecha Kucha Night is a presentation format of 20 images for 20 seconds each totaling 6 minutes and 40 seconds. It was developed by Klein Dytham Architecture in Tokyo in 2003 and is now a global network of over 700 cities! Pecha Kucha Nights are informal and anyone can present. It is a platform to share your work in a relaxed way.
