PULP: Paper Art Party

Rotem Yaniv is an architect based in Toronto and is the Project Lead of Architecture for Humanity Toronto. To raise money for their various projects, he came up with an idea of throwing a paper-themed party: PULP. In this presentation, Rotem shares where he got the idea from and how when you ask designers/architects for help, they don't just volunteer, they start to design.

Origami x Onigiri = ORINIGIRI

Architect Tomoo Nitta gives a presentation on the activities of ORINIGIRI, Origami makes various shapes of Onigiri, Origami x Onigiri = ORINIGIRI. This activity began as the volunteer activity for the Tohoku Reconstruction Project, and now various workshops are being held by various people in various places in Japan and abroad. In this presentation, Tomoo will talk about the future challenge of ORINIGIRI。

 

建築家の新田知生さんは、オリニギリというおりがみをしながらそれを型紙にしていろいろなおにぎりを作る活動(おりがみ x おにぎり = オリニギリ)についてプレゼンテーションを行います。この活動は東北復興プロジェクトのボランティア活動から始まり、現在では国内外の様々な場所で様々な方々によるワークショップが展開されています。今回のプレゼンテーションではこのオリニギリの今後のチャレンジをお伝えします。
