Since 2009 Amaury Cornut works about the life and music of Louis T. Hardin aka Moondog, a singular and unrecognized 'classical' composer. He was a blind beggars, dressed like a viking, who also has conducted the prestigious New York Philharmonic Orchestra and influenced Philip Glass and Steve Reich in the same time he was jamming with Charlie 'Bird' Parker and Mingus and was a heroes for Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin or Elvis Costello. Amaury who just published few month ago the french biography and run the strings ensemble 'Minisym' which play Moondog's rare music, open with this PechaKucha a small door to discover Moondog's universe... {in French}

When she landed in a foreign country with no friends and no idea of how things would be, she became depressed and lost her passion for living. As time passed, she fatefully met the owner of Jo Art Gallery & Decor who offered a position in which she can teach others how to paint. 

She believes that making art brings joy to others.

Love is Blind Contour

For the past 9 months, Kate Michaud has been drawing blind contours (line art drawn without looking down at the paper) of every man with whom she's gone on a date. Every week she posts a drawing in her online blog.  Thought not a visual artist, her co-workers - who are graphic designers - persuaded her to do this project, and it has snowballed into something bigger than she imagined.

Trained as volunteer heritage guide by George Town World Heritage Inc, Penang for their educational walks. Was a volunteer at St Nicholas Home for the Blind, Penang.Trained in Audio Description and a volunteer with the National Council for the Blind, Malaysia for their Audio Description projects.Now lives in Kuching Sarawak.
