這次PechaKucha Night Vol.40,特別與設計生活美學媒體《La Vie》合作,將帶給大家全新的趨勢觀察,一起來聽聽他們的宇宙無敵神奇經驗,一窺「斜槓人生」的辛酸與精彩。

ZAShare: Learn to be not taught to fit

As chubby as he is witty, Ozzie, a middle-aged slashie who has left his six failed business attempts behind, keeps making strides on the path to his dream. He is also known as “Principal Sweet Potato” — due partly to his bulky figure and mainly to his founding of ZA-Share, an unconventional school that is set to revolutionize education as it is.

Ozzie is also a zealous learner who is not afraid to sound clarion call for innovations and actions outside the system. One of his strongest beliefs is that art holds the key to solving social problems, as it is capable of creating social impact and thus achieving transformation. He is devoted to curating and interdisciplinary integration among cultural economy, innovative education, social design, branding and more.

Combining Botanical Arts With Architecture

建築學系畢業,因空間設計需求而開啟關於植物的思考創作,重拾起成長環境的薰陶下一直以來對於自然的感受和神秘聯繫。2013年開始專注獨特植物裝置藝術的創作,並結合建築背景,透過設計案、教學、創作、產品發展,組接從建築架構、生活層面、到植物藝術的融合軌跡,從理念上不斷嘗試與傳遞,透過本質思考、現象分析、和技術研究,轉化於每一次的事件與作品的藝術化成果。

在每個喜歡的領域裡,李霽總是極力在奔跑,不偷閒也不點到為止,凡事衝破了最高極限。其當代藝術創作的靈感,也來自於此,來自每天都想過的不一樣,都在衝破極限的路上遇見新視野,帶到他的裝置作品中,試圖給這個封閉靜止的世界更多的刺激。媒體盛讚他為台灣首位將植物作為一項藝術的材料,深入它的內涵,它的微存在,以及它在世界上存在的位置之創作者。

李霽認為,人應該依附在環境裡生存,而不是總把自己放在空間的中心,反讓植物成為外一種制式的裝飾。其品牌質物霽畫BOTANIPLAN VON LEE CHI 不只進行一種美學表現,而還具有概念性,想去結合更深度的議題,跟觀看者、參參與者產生共鳴。李霽與團隊希望,「作品好玩,有革命性,輕鬆但也嚴肅,有這個品牌執著的事情,用這個品牌的創作去說話。」

李霽也是位極限馬馬拉松跑者,曾參參與內蒙、柬埔寨、新疆等百餘公里里里賽事,並取得優秀成績。目前,下一階段的極地馬馬拉松賽事安排正在規劃中。

李霽甫獲國際知名流雜誌Prestige 遴選為2017 年度四十位未屆四十歲之青年成功人士(40 Under 40)。

Lee Chi, born in Taipei in 1983, graduated from the Department of Architecture at Chung Yuan Christian University in 2007. While working on an interior design project inspired by floral elements, Lee Chi thought of his childhood years. He was reminded of a time when he was immersed in and influenced by nature. He realized his past experiences with the natural world could be a source of inspiration for new ideas. With that in mind, Lee Chi began experimenting with combining botanical arts with architecture.

In 2013, Lee Chi began to focus on developing unique botanical art installations by bringing together his background in architecture and his personal experiences in design cases, teaching, art creation, and product development. He continues to explore using botanicals under the framework of architecture, and to experiment with new ideas. His inspiration for his contemporary art comes not only from nature, but also everyday life. By reflecting upon the nature of art, analyzing society, and researching creative techniques, he is able to transform essential elements into a series of artwork which shows the insight and depth of his creative mind.

Lee Chi pushes the boundaries of his work and aspires to go beyond his own standard for excellence. He has been praised for being the first to use plants as a medium for art in Taiwan and received recognition from the internationally-known magazine, Prestige, in their 40 Under 40 of 2017 edition.

Rather than only using plants as a superficial decoration, he believes people should form a deep relationship with them. As the creative director of BOTANIPLAN VON LEE CHI, Lee Chi’s goal for the brand is to not only emphasize aesthetics, but also to create actualized works of art connecting observers with nature and societal introspection. Lee Chi and the BVLC team strive to use their creations to express this philosophy.

Lee Chi is also a ultramarathon runner, and has competed in Cambodia, Inner Mongolia, and Xinjiang and achieved outstanding results. The Deserts Race Series will be his next challenge.

Be a pioneer for the next generation

2004年加入蘇打綠樂團,總共發行10張專輯、巡迴演唱會超過百場,足跡遍佈世界各主要大城市。2017年蘇打綠宣布休團,成立「華山站貨場」,於台北舉辦過兩年的大型親子樂園「達斯克樂園」,2018年帶領藝術團隊接下台北燈節,改變了傳統燈節的結構。九月份,推動「Wow Taiwan」計畫,將台灣藝術團隊推向紐約國際藝術殿堂。2019年,致力將「曙光祭-免廢收聽」音樂節發揚光大至全台巡迴。

Afu joined “Sodagreen” in 2004, which has released 10 albums, held more than 100 concerts, and left their footprints over the major cities around the world since then.

In 2017, after winning big at Golden Melody Awards, “Sodagreen” made an announcement to take a 3-year break. Meanwhile, Afu founded the “Hua-Shan Station”, which held a large scale parent-child event ,“ Darsk Kids Wonderland” in the last two years.

In 2018, Afu led the team to take over the Taipei Lantern Festival, and changed the traditional lantern festival thoroughly. In September of the year, Afu implemented an incubator program, “WOW Taiwan”, which helps introducing Taiwanese artists into the Museum of Modern Art(MoMA).

In 2019, Afu is dedicated to raise environmental awareness by making “Reborn Festival” to become a national tour.
