The Scrumptious Flavors of Love

@ VOL 12 ON DEC 10, 2018

teZa Lord was once an angst-ridden person who, early in her career, made art in celebration of fear and confusion, a delicious agony. Only after realizing that feelings of a shared communion with others, Love, gave her comfort did her work change. After fleeing the States to the West Indies for an entire decade during the Vietnam era, Nature itself became her teacher. Lord explored plants in the jungle, sailed the deep blue sea, shared her simple life with simple people. Like shape-shifting, her work documented Oneness with land, air, and sea creatures, and the elements, as she experienced a shared life-energy with All. Lord changed from being fear-full to celebrating the endless creative possibilities of Love—because she changed her thinking! She explains the power of our brain: how we think, we become. The creative Force of Love is a healing balm, the only solution for all the many challenges our crazy world faces today. Humankind itself is the many scrumptious flavors of Love!

Delicious as Agreement vs Discovery

@ VOL 12 ON DEC 10, 2018

Michael Arnold explains delicious is not as much a subjective and independent experience but rather an orchestrated response that was formed long before our birth and even in utero. What we find to be delicious is less a discovery and more an agreement to a preset standard.

About the City's Organizers

  • Amy Robb

    Doughnuts are my weakness.

  • Harold George

The youngest of six sons, I grew up in St. Augustine, Florida, my mother's hometown. A super shy kid that is now pathologically gregarious, I am amazed at how wonderful life can be simply because of the community that I am part of, and the career that found me. After a very brief acting career, I have spent most of my adult life in the library world, and it is this context that has brought me the best experiences and greatest relationships.
