Art as Dialogue - Not Decoration

Robert Gonci is an avid amateur art collector and explores the idea of art as dialogue, rather than decoration. He has been collecting art for more than 20 years and says that his eclectic collection talks to him every day.

Becoming EmPowerful

Jamie Forbes overcame his initial fear that he might be re-victimized in telling his story after considering the larger picture. Once he recognized that there was a compelling opportunity to shift the negative power from his experience into a force for good by creating awareness of the issue, reducing the stigma for victims, providing an opening for others to discuss the topic, and reducing the chance that others could be victimized, he became motivated and inspired by the potential.

Jamie used that inspiration to found Hadley Rock Advisors.

Cliff Lazenby has been a fan of the San Francisco-based rock band, Thee Oh Sees, for years, but was long deprived of hearing them live. So when the band announced they would be headlining a 3 day music festival in Iceland of all wonderful places, Cliff made plans with some fellow music freak friends to embark on an Icelandic adventure.

Calamity strikes one week before scheduled to leave - the festival goes bankrupt! Cliff and his friends decided to go through with their plans, and instead experienced the trip of a lifetime.

Chris Ledoux is the author of a flash fiction (fiction that is very short) novel series on Instagram called 'The Burnt Sunset.' An apocalyptic, dystopian world is depicted and accompanied by eye-catching illustration.
