We had so much fun last year working with City Wide Open Studies that we decided we would be fools not to do it again. On Wednesday, October 23, PechaKucha New Haven lands at Long Wharf Theater, Stage II, at 222 Sargent Street. It is sure to be the best evening you have ever spent in your life (you really need to get out more). The theme of the evening is “Older, But Younger” and some of the talks will probably even relate to the theme.

Add this to your calendar!  Bring your friends, lovers, enemies even. (Always good to keep them close). At the heart of a PechaKucha night is community + creativity, and everyone loves a little of that. The format of a PechaKucha talk is simple: The speaker has 20 slides automatically advancing every 20 seconds while they talk or sing or, even dance.  Their call.    The rest of us are the supporting crowd hungry for their words and images about their ideas, work, poetry, research, designs, vacation, or passions.

While you are planning out your October activities, check out the City Wide Open Studios site for other opportunities of awesomeness:
