Rotem Yaniv is an architect based in Toronto and is the Project Lead of Architecture for Humanity Toronto. After last year's success, PULP: Paper Art Party has returned. Led by architect Rotem Yaniv, the fundraising event advocates for sustainable design. The event itself encompasses a live music show within a reclaimed materials art exhibit. All proceeds go towards raising funds to refurbish Street Haven at the Crossroads, a downtown emergency women's shelter.

As an architect I'm a proponent for saving historic buildings and I constantly see potential in unique and underutilized spaces. There are areas of town which may have both but sometimes need that "something more." After living near Emory Place for 3 years I decided the "something more" it needed was a stronger connection and community and more activity in general. This isn't an issue that is solved by renovations alone. This is where a group of like-minded people came together to make that "something more" a reality. This is how the Emory Place Block Party came to be.
Painting Party Animals
Internationally recognized Miami-based artist Dana Donaty talks about her unique process in creating an intoxicating mix of monstrous party animals and humans on canvas. Her unmistakeable satirical lexicon is a perfect collision of the grotesque, outlandish burlesque, psychological flirtation and a super charged palette that is like a party about to get thoroughly out of control.
