Art From the Core of Earth

@ VOL 5 ON JUL 19, 2018

Humans have been forging tools and art from metals for nearly all of recorded history. Jeffrey Funk has also been working his trade for at least a couple of those decades and has a philosophical approach to the craft of blacksmithing in the modern world. Funk derives inspiration from the sheer power of raw earth and the ability to use heat, pressure and patience to create his work.

Craftsmanship in Collaboration

@ VOL 5 ON JUL 19, 2018

Many craftsmen move through the world in a solitary manner, following their pursuits in a steadfast singularity. Others, like Paul Babneau, use their experience and skills by reaching out to make connections and create amazing things that could only be accomplished through collaborative efforts.
