One of her passions is holistic health, and her presentation explores joy, a true feeling one can feel and use to overcome depression. In 2009, while dealing with undiagnosed postpartum depression, Becky Castle Miller experienced an emotional breakdown. She battled Major Depressive Disorder for two years. She wants to invite people into the experience of mental illness to help reduce the stigma surrounding public discussions of mental health. In January, she will be (re)launching an online magazine about women's mental and emotional health.

Kelsey Woods struggled through years of depression before realizing what was happening to her mind and body. Her depression seemed to rule her life, wrecking relationships and thwarting her mission to become the first in her family to earn a bachelor's degree.
She hopes to help those struggling with depression know that they aren't alone and also those who know someone with depression understand how they can help.

She had to overcome trauma and is a survivor of Breast Cancer. Pat has run a support group, for Depression, Anxiety and Panic Attacks, for the West Rand. She has also written a book Eight Steps To a New You in 2009 to help people. Pat is a Member of Woman of Stature.
