Black Box Theatre
Writer, director and instructor of acting, Kate Twa is proud to bring black box theatre to the South Okanagan. Artistic director of Tempest Theatre and Film Society in Penticton and co-founder of Vancouver’s Railtown Actors Studio, she has written and directed two feature films (Gods of Youth and The Orchard) that screened at over 20 film festivals worldwide. The Orchard won numerous awards including Best Director for Twa at Sydney Independent Film Festival. She has written and directed three stage plays and directed dozens more. This presentation showcases some of these experiences.
