Let's club together to build a house? Actually this phrase is the idea of Chelyabinsk project “The Ants”. The authors have come up with a scheme to invest in construction through Crowdfunding. How does this work? How to make the building process as clear as possible? And where is planned the first building, which can be observed online? Alexander Medvedev, one of project’s authors, gave the answers on these issues in the course of Pecha Kucha.

The growing concerns about rising energy prices, energy independence and the impact of climate change show buildings to be as the primary energy consumer in Armenia. This fact emphasizes the importance of targeting building use as key to decreasing the nation’s energy consumption. Currently, there are a small number of NetZero buildings in the world and Armenia has a huge potential to adopt these strategies to decrease energy use and reduce dependence on fossil fuel.
