Passie voor illusie

Fotograaf Edwin Wiekens volgde verschillende illusionisten naar hun optredens door het land voor zijn fotoboek Passie voor Illusie. Dit is een bijzonder fotoboek over passie, ambitie en onvoorwaardelijke overgave. Het vak van goochelaar/illusionist bestaat bij de gratie van passie. Er is namelijk geen goochelschool met een baangarantie en inkomenszekerheid. De mensen die voor dit bestaan kiezen, doen dit vanuit hun gedrevenheid en liefde voor het vak.

In her presentation 'Y we educate', Catalina Goanta shares some of her "teeny tiny" observations gathered during five years of teaching and tries to give flesh to the question of how exactly one needs teach "Millenials", e.g. current students.
