About the City's Organizers

  • Marta Sofia Silva

    Marta is an architect graduated by the Architecture School of University of Minho since 2008, now attending a Master’s degree in Communication, Art and Culture and developing her thesis on the subject “Semiotic Analysis of Museum Space”, crossing references between social sciences and architecture. Having lived and worked abroad for several years, she is now based in Braga where she aims to explore her hometown’s potential, whether by co-organizing Pecha Kucha Nights or having an active role on advocating for sustainable mobility.

  • Daniel Duarte Pereira

    Daniel is an architect graduated by the Architecture School of University of Minho, Guimarães, Portugal, where he has worked as an invited assistant and researcher. He is a founding member of Space Transcribers, a international and critical association that aims to questions the contemporary built environment in terms of its representation and collective imaginary by organizing artistic practices, social events, exhibitions, workshops and publications. He is happy to co-organize the Pecha Kucha Nights, to the able to gather together talented people to share their histories, passions and personal projects with the city of Braga.

  • José Pedro Correia

    Zé studied computer science at the University of Minho, graduating in 2007. After living in the Netherlands and working for some years in the field, he is now living in Braga and pursuing a PhD in philosophy of language at the University of Porto. He joined the organization of the Pecha Kucha Night in order to help promote knowledge exchange among dynamic people in the city.
