Lakshmi Regarajan is the Founder of Me So Far, and works in Strategic Planning at Draftfcb Chicago.  She’s trying to make dating suck less and offer single folks an option for meeting people that is fun, thoughtful and grounded in how people actually develop feelings and connection.  She has a BA from The Johns Hopkins University and an MS from Northwestern University, though she received the bulk of her education from neither place.

Telling Technical Stories

Noel Rappin is a Senior Developer and Table XI's Agile Coach. Noel has more than a dozen years of professional development experience, with successful projects ranging from brand new startups to Fortune 500 clients. He has experience in the entire life cycle of a software project, from initial conception and planning through development, to deployment and maintenance of legacy projects. Noel also has a history of teaching and mentoring developers, helping them improve their skills.


A respected member of the web development community, Noel has authored five technical books, including "Rails Test Prescriptions" and "Master Space and Time With JavaScript." Noel is also the author or co-author of "Professional Ruby on Rails," "wxPython in Action," and "Jython Essentials."
Before joining Table XI, Noel spent time running internal training at Groupon, was a Senior Consultant at Obtiva and Pathfinder, and has lead teams on a variety of web development projects.


Noel has a Ph.D. in educational technology and user-centered design from the College of Computing and the Graphics, Visualization, and Usability Lab at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where his work centered on the intersection of education, user experience, and mental modeling.

Mike Laurence is a coder and tinkerer. He co-founded Bytebin in order to pursue his dream of moderating forums and resetting passwords for forgetful users (and maybe make a game or two). Mike also loves to sing and dance, as long as he has had two to four IPAs and a glass of bubbly. (All Deepworld art by Quinn Stephens)

I Became an Artist and So Can You

Luis Mendo has been designing for 14 years. Before moving to Amsterdam, he worked in newspaper design teams in Barcelona. In june 2005 he founded GOOD Inc.® and was included in the “Top 10 best Art Directors in The Netherlands”. 

Next to his work as a designer, he has a double life as a illustrator and graphic artist. Luis writes in books, blogs and magazines, is part of juries, teaches editorial design and gives lectures & workshops internationally. In 2007 he founded the reliable freelancers group Goodfellas Network. Since 2012 he's also been the Design Director of the PechaKucha organisation.

Pecha Kucha- The Story So Far...
