Entrepreneurial Mindset in Capstone, Powered by PechaKucha
Hundreds of engineering faculty members attend the KEEN National Conference every year to learn about the power the entrepreneurial mindset has within academia, industry, and the future careers of their students. Attendees leave conference with tools to immediately implement, including faculty engagement strategies, pedagogical approaches, and curricular and extra-curricular examples.
Whether at the nightly receptions or during any of the workshops, attendees learn how others are fostering the entrepreneurial mindset in their classrooms and forge lasting relationships within KEEN. Over 40 different breakout sessions are offered throughout the conference including six Powered by PechaKucha sessions related to entrepreneurial mindset in core engineering, first year, capstone, industry, non-engineering, and scaffolded throughout curriculum.
"Powered by PechaKucha" events are one-off events that are separate from regular city-based PechaKucha Nights, and that are usually held as part of festivals and conferences, but can also act as standalone events. These events include presentations that use the PechaKucha 20 images x 20 seconds format."
