Health Talks 2013

February 27, 2013

Health Talks: Bold Ideas. Stories that Inspire. was the Quality Forum’s evening event on February 27, 2013. Eight engaging and passionate speakers – representing both health care and the public – answered our question: What are your hopes for health care?

But Health Talks’ speakers didn’t read off cue cards or use PowerPoint presentations full of bullet points. They used the Pecha Kucha format, where each presentation contained 20 slides and each slide was displayed for exactly 20 seconds before automatically advancing to the next one. The slides could only feature photos or videos – no text!

"Powered by PechaKucha" events are one-off events that are separate from regular city-based PechaKucha Nights, and that are usually held as part of festivals and conferences, but can also act as standalone events. These events include presentations that use the PechaKucha 20 images x 20 seconds format.

Contact us below if you would like to use the PechaKucha format in your event.
