PechaKucha Night Gisborne really turned it on for this weeks PechaKucha Poster Spotlight! This work of art was created by Kahu Ngata (kahu_ngata on Instagram), and features a cartoon-style drawing that feels laid-back but playful at the same time. The poster has a solid purple background, with a television headed person wearing an oversized yellow heart sweatshirt telling us details about the event, how convenient! It is a simple yet fun design with a color scheme that catches the eye immediately. With a poster like this, Gisborne's Vol. 22 event on the 23rd of August will surely be something you want to see! Good luck Gisborne, and thanks for the awesome poster!

PechaKucha Night Knoxville knocked it out of the park once again for this weeks PechaKucha Poster Spotlight! The flowing work of art features a backdrop reminiscent of a stained-glass "Starry Night" with beautiful waves of blue, green and purple. The poster peers upon a delighted water tower who is taken aback by the beauty of Knoxville's iconic Sunsphere, or maybe more appropriately known by its nickname, the "Wigsphere", in this case - thanks to an episode of The Simpsons. The two seemed to have locked eyes with interest; maybe it is the beginning of a Tennessee love story! For more stories, Knoxville is the place to be as they are hosting their Vol. 32 event on the 15th of August, it won't be anything you want to miss!

This weeks PKN Poster Spotlight from New Westminster was over the rainbow! Featuring a simple yet aesthetic design of a city with a rainbow shooting out of the buildings, this poster pops when it catches your eye. What's more, this poster and event serve to highlight Pride Week with proceeds from the event going towards New West Pride - awesome! We are all about equality and inclusion here at PechaKucha, so naturally, this poster fits right in. If you can, go and support at New Westminster's Vol. 23 event next Friday on August 10th!

We at the HQ loved this one from the beginning, so here is the PechaKucha Poster Spotlight of the week, courtesy of PKN Indianapolis! Featuring the partial silhouette of a person walking on a path towards a sunrise between the folds of a mountain, the calming picture reminds us of the simple beauties life has to offer every day. The soft tones of yellow, orange, green and blue blend complement each other in such a way to where you can feel as though you are on that path too. The next best thing, however, would be to attend Indianapolis' Vol. 13 event on August 1st, it is sure to be a great time!

Best of luck!

PechaKucha Night Kalamazoo weaves together the first place prize for this week's PechaKucha Poster Spotlight. Honestly, guys, this is one of the most beautiful posters we've seen yet! The collection of different patterns that look like they've been sewn together and the nine, representing Kalamazoo's Volume 9 event, artistically weaves under and over the pattern. If you're looking for an incredible collection of people all sewn together for a good night of fun, PKN Kalamazoo will have their event next week, July 25th, at the Old Dog Tavern Beer Garden

Can't wait to see what else you guys have got!

This week's PechaKucha Poster Spotlight is coming in hot! Congratulations to PechaKucha Night Aalen, for your amazing desert poster! With a wonderful clash of warm and cool, desert and sky, orange and blue, this poster captures a great juxtaposition in such a sleek design. There are also some fun vacation icons spread throughout, due to the travel theme of their volume 41 event, which you can catch TONIGHT at Aalener Löwenbrauerei! Can't wait to hear what kind of travel stories Aalen has!

PechaKucha Night Ulaanbaatar was not playing around this week as they take the top spot in our Poster Spotlight! This colorful and chaotic poster brings the same fun energy that can be found during the events hosted there, and features a wild collage of eyes, birds, ice cream and almost every shape and color imaginable; we love it! While Ulaanbaatar is still rather new to the PK family, they take no shortcuts in providing a worthwhile event that looks like an absolute blast.

With a poster like this, imagine how great their Vol. 4 event will be on July 6th, just a few days away!

Go big or go home! This week's PechaKucha Poster Spotlight features graphic art at it's finest. PechaKucha Night Stirling takes the win with their friendly giants poster, created by David Galletly, who takes on another PechaKucha poster using his familiar theme of titans. We LOVE it!

If you're looking for a night of creative giants sharing their passions, great local beer, and a good time, look no further than PechaKucha Stirling's Vol. 6 event which will be held on June 20th, at CodeBase Stirling.
