JULY 05, 2019
Resting comfortably on the Baja California Penninsula in Mexico, Ensenada shines bright in this week's City Focus. With a population of around 700,000 people, the city is the third largest in Baja California and is home to an ethnically diverse community that fosters a unique culture, including being the birthplace of the modern fish taco! Maybe that is why its local nickname is "La Cenicienta del Pacífico" - The Cinderella of the Pacific. Hosting Mediterranean climates, Ensenada also finds itself at the heart of the Mexican wine country, as well as being a popular destination for tourists and cruise ships. With good wine and a fun culture, it truly sounds like the perfect place for a PechaKucha; and as luck would have it, our friends down in Ensenada have arranged their Vol. 3 event, which will take place on July 11th. If you are in the area, you won't want to miss it!
Viva Ensenada y viva PechKucha!
