We Want Your Presentation

BitSummit MMXIV is now behind us, and what a fantastic celebration of indie gaming that was! We were able to record 10 presentations from participating indie game developers on the show floor during the event -- check out our event page to see who took part -- and we'll be publishing these presentations in this Channel towards the end of the week.

While at the festival, we met quite a few participants who were interested in taking part in our recordings, but weren't able to prepare a presentation on the spot, and so we're opening up the Channel. If you took part in BitSummit MMXIV and would like to record a PechaKucha presentation to be included here, get in touch! It can be about your experience at BitSummit, about the games you had on show, or an overview of your experience in gaming. Share your story!

Are you taking part in BitSummit MMXIV? Let us know, we'd love to record you giving a PechKucha presentation (20 images x 20 seconds) and have you be part of the BitSummit Channel on the PechaKucha global website.

We're trying something a bit different in partnering up with BitSummit, and instead of producing an event in front of an audience during the festival that would limit the number of participants, we are encouraging all participants to record a PechaKucha presentation with us on-site -- and these presentations can be given in English or Japanese.

Tell us about your game! Tell us about your company! Tell us how you got started in the industry! Share your stories and experiences using the PechaKucha 20 images x 20 seconds format. We will be at the festival during all 3 days (March 7-9) with the equipement to record you giving the presentation (either at your booth if you have one, or in a spot somewhere on the show floor).

All you need to prepare are the 20 images you will use in your presentation, that's it! Please get in touch now to make sure we get you, or come see us if you spot us on the show floor -- we'll be wearing our black PechaKucha "20 images x 20 seconds" t-shirts!

PechaKucha is very happy to take part in this year's BitSummit festival, and we can't wait to share your presentations with the world.

From the minute the lights came up at the end of the inaugural BitSummit—a humble but ultimately successful effort—we immediately took the enthusiasm and feedback and support gathered from the first event and set our sights on creating an even better follow-up for 2014. Many of the indie teams who joined us for BitSummit MMXIII have already experienced exciting new levels of collaboration and success over the past year. Simply speaking, BitSummit is having an effect, and we want to build on that momentum.

For BitSummit MMXIV (March 7-9) we’ve expanded the size, the length, and the quality, with three days worth of guest speakers and musical guests, combined together in an event unlike anything ever seen.
